The DOE Fellows poster exhibition will showcase the research accomplishments of DOE Fellows in the areas of High-Level Waste, Soil and Groundwater, Deactivation & Decommissioning (D&D), and Information Technology (IT).

How to Apply

Student Application

The DOE / FIU Science & Technology WorkForce Development Initiative is currently taking application during the month of September 2009. If you are interested please download the application and return to the contact information provided below.

Requirements
  • United States Citizen/ Permanent Resident Alien(Green Card)
  • Undergrad or Graduate FIU students
  • Minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average

Application package must contain

  • A completed Application
  • Three letters of recommendation from FIU faculty members
  • Copy of Unofficial FIU transcripts
  • Current Resume
Benefits
  • Hands on work with assisgned mentors
  • Paid 10 week summer internships
  • Paid 20 hours per week research work
  • Tuition waiver for graduate students(Master & PhD)
  • Participate/Present at Conferences
  • Employment oppurtunities with DOE, DOE National labs or DOE contractors
